The 11th October 2020 has seen a bigger and better Coming Out Day than ever before. A while back, we asked our followers if they feel Coming Out Day is still beneficial to the LGBTQ+ community with regard to progressing rights and normalising recognition around LGBTQ+ identities and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people.
The results were divisive, with 45% voting 'No' and 55% voting 'Yes' - so we caught up with Hayley McCourt, Tequila and Elodie Smith to see what they have to say about Coming Out Day. Click here to watch our IGTV.
From all of us at Jecca Blac, wherever you are, we hope you had a fabulous Coming Out Day. We hope you feel empowered, inspired, and proud - not just on Coming Out Day, but everyday.
We asked our followers how they feel about #ComingOutDay today - here's what you had to say about it! Special thanks to @mua_hay, @elodiesmithx & @tequilaaddams for sharing their thoughts on Coming Out Day today, too. Wishing everybody a happy and empowered #ComingOutDay, wherever you are! Stay tuned for more community content throughout the rest of #LGBTQHistoryMonth ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💖🤎🖤 #WithJeccaBlac
