Do we still need coming out day? Does it complicate or reinforce ideas about the LGBTQ community, such as an obligation to label yourself?
It's totally okay if you didn't come out on Coming Out Day. Your experience is valid, and there are 364 other days in the year you can make your own Coming Out Day if and when the time is right. Only you can judge this - so be gentle with yourself and give yourself all the time you need.
